It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sharron Anne (Kozlof) Cooper at Copper Terrace Nursing Home on Sunday, December 8th, 2024 at the age of 73. Sharron was born in Chatham, the daughter of the late Mary Johnston (Kozlof nee Beaubien) and the late Walter Kozlof; stepdaughter of the late Clarence Johnston. “In My Little Corner of The World” Sharron was the proud and loving wife of Brian K. Cooper for 43 years. Dear sister of Larry Kozlof (Jane), Patricia Hamelin (Tommy, deceased), and Mary “Maggie” Engel (Rudi, deceased). Sister-in-law of Owen Cooper (Mary), Chris Cooper, Sheila Nethersole, and Leslie Reycraft. Predeceased by brothers Richard, Alexander, Paul, and David and sisters Karen Armstrong (Phillip), and Janice Yourex (Glen-deceased). Sharron was an aunt to many nieces and nephews who will remember her as always smiling, laughing, singing, cooking and crafting. She was the greatest addition to our family and as children they all wanted Aunt Sharron and Uncle Brian to babysit them – fun times would be had by all! Special moments were when Aunt Sharron was treated with the latest “Braided” hairstyle by her special nieces! We thank God for all the staff and volunteers at Copper Terrace Nursing Home for making our sweet Sharron’s home away from home for the last 19 years on 3rd floor east. Words cannot express our gratefulness for your care, love, and service over the years. We will miss how Sharron radiated love and joy to those who knew and loved her. According to Brian’s wishes, Sharron will be cremated, an interment will take place at a later date at Maple Leaf Cemetery. Donations to the Chatham Kent Hospice would be appreciated by the family.

It is with great sadness we share the unexpected passing of Keegan Mitchell Wright. Keegan left us December 7, 2024 at the age of 25. He is survived by his mother Brandee, his father Dean, his sister Zuriyah and his fur babies Prius and Mac. Keegan, a social butterfly and big flirt with the ladies, will be missed by many. Much loved by his team of nurses with the Home Health Care Team. Over the past 25 years Keegan has travelled North America and the Caribbean with his family and his health care team making friends everywhere he went. Keegan enjoyed sailing camp, special abilities horse back riding, concerts, live theatre, fundraising events, listening to music, watching t.v., and going to the movies. Most all he loved everything that goes, semi trucks, planes, trains, golf carts, never missing a chance to ride in or on anything with an engine. Keegan loved life, he engaged in practical jokes, and his laughter and smile were contagious. As a young adult after graduating high school Keegan became an entrepreneur making custom greeting cards and bath bombs. His business, Keegan Kares, donated all proceeds to charity and gave away more product than he ever sold. The family requests some time to start healing from this great loss. A celebration of life will take place early in the new year. Details to follow. A special thanks to Chatham-Kent Emergency services Fire, EMS, Police and the Wallaceburg Hospital Emergency Department. We have lost a genuine man, our son, our brother, our friend. In the days to follow we will find comfort and strength, knowing “Keegan Kares” ❤
